Rapiscan Eagle Gantry

The Rapiscan Eagle® Gantry Series of high—energy X—ray rail mounted gantry inspection systems for rapid, automated scanning of vehicles and cargo. It is well—suited to cargo screening at entrances to critical facilities, as well as border crossings and seaports.

The Rapiscan Eag|e® Gantry Series has a 1, 4.5 or 6 MV X—ray imaging system that enables inspection of dense cargo, verification of manifests and identification of contraband, such as explosives, weapons and narcotics. Optional capabilities to help find low density contraband and radioactive material in cargo are available with the Eagle G60.

  • The Eagle Gantry has a 1, 4.5 or 6 MV X—ray imaging system that enables inspection of light, medium and dense cargo, verification of manifests and identification of contraband, such as explosives, weapons and narcotics.
  • The Eagle Gantry series facility consists of the gantry, which supports the X—ray generator and detector array, the rails and the containerized offices. Radiation shielding walls or a weatherproof building can be optionally added.
  • Rapiscan’s material separation technology. The Eagle G60 is the only G Series product with optional material separation technology, which helps the inspector find low density contraband, such as explosives and narcotics.
  • Rapiscan Eagle Gantry Series gantry cargo and vehicle scanners deliver high quality X—ray imaging in a high|y—automated scanning operation. In drive—by scan mode, unoccupied vehicles parked between the rails are scanned as the gantry moves past them.
  • Multiple scanning modes. The multiple scanning modes available with the Eagle Gantry Series provide the flexibility to respond to changing operational requirements.
  • When high throughput is needed, the Eagle Gantry can be operated in the optional drive-through scan mode which automatically scan the cargo.
  • Crew members are housed in comfortable containerized offices.
