Orion® 918CX
The Orion 918CX is a single-view, high performance, compact and versatile 540mm by 360mm
tunnel X-Ray system, with exceptional image quality and alert capabilities for detecting what could be narcotics and explosives in checkpoint baggage and parcels.
EXPLOSIVES AND NARCOTICS DETECTION
Target and NARCScan are designed to detect a wide range of explosives and narcotics respectively in real time during the scanning process by marking a potential threat on the X-ray image. Rapiscan detection algorithms are based on regulatory approved material analysis techniques.
DUAL MODE ZEFF
This feature aids the operator in quick identification of organic materials, either in Range Mode which highlights areas based on operator selected Z-effective values of 7, 8 or 9, or in Interactive Mode which gives the operator the option to display the Z-effective number of a selected pixel. This capability enhances both the efficiency and accuracy of the material identification screening process.
SPECTRUM 4-COLOR IMAGING
Rapiscan’s proprietary Spectrum 4-color Imaging provides operators the ability to easily change between Classic 4-color and Spectrum-4 for a brighter color palette, a key option which allows faster screening leading to increased throughput and improved security.
MATRIXING, NETWORKING & REMOTE VIEWING
Available networking options offer the ability to perform configuration management from one central network computer, remote network image archive review from a unified management platform, remote status monitoring through a web enabled interface, and a multi-system alarm resolution network display station to improve the effectiveness of manual searches by providing scanned reference images to the manual screener.
